The  tab is the place where you can find and manage all content libraries. You can create content in aNewSpring to build inspiring learning journeys for your learners.

Per content library you can create content parts and questions that you can use to add to the activities that you are going to create in the template. 

Before you start, it is important to understand the relation between templates, activities, content libraries and the content within the content libraries.

Template
The template is where you will build the learning journey by adding blocks and activities. The template is the basis of the courses that you are going to create under the template.

Activities
To build the template you create blocks with activities, such as lessons and assessments.

Content
Activities can contain one or multiple content pages with questions and content parts, which always come from a content library. You can find the content libraries at the tab. 

Content libraries
You can link one or more content libraries to a template. The questions and content parts from these libraries can then be used in activities when creating the learning journey.

Reuse of content
The content in the content libraries is seperated from the template. Therefore, you can link a content library to multiple templates. The advantage of this is that you can reuse the questions and content parts in multiple learning journeys.

When you have a lot of content libraries, you can use the tags to create a structure.

Where are content libraries linked to?

On the page you can see if a content library is in use in the column 'In use'. If you see a checkmark next to a content library in the column 'In use', this means the content library is linked to template(s) and/or surveys.
If you hover over this checkmark with your mouse, you can see to which templates the content library is linked. If the content library contains content that is used in surveys, you can see in which surveys content is used.
