Setting up the Hotspot question
1. Create a Hotspot question
When creating a new question (by clicking the +Question button in the content library), choose the Hotspot question type and click Add and edit .
2. Add question content
Enter the question in the field Add question content under Question. You can make use of the text editor or Plus-editor.
3. Upload an image
Upload the image under Answer via the blue button Choose file:
4. Select the hotspot area
You can now select the hotspot area in the image by clicking on the image. This marks the area that will be considered as the correct answer when the learner selects a place within this hotspot area of the image when answering the question.
Once you have marked the hotspot area, you can expand the hotspot area by clicking one of the white squares with your mouse and dragging this point to another place.
You can create only one hotspot area per question.
5. Add feedback (optional)
If you want to add feedback other than the default feedback that is shown after answering the question, you can add feedback in the Feedback if answered correctly and Feedback if answered incorrectly fields.
