MS Office viewer

Add PowerPoint, Word and Excel files to aNewSpring. A selected file will be shown in the canvas.

Google Docs Viewer

View PDF, Word, Excel or PowerPoint files in the Google Docs viewer. When you click Update and Test, the file will be directly visible in the content part.

The moment you use the Google Docs Viewer, you agree to their terms and conditions. You will also find a link to the terms and conditions when uploading content in the content type Google Docs in you content part or question.

PDF Viewer

Use the PDF Viewer to add PDF files to your content part or question. When using this content type you can also decide whether learners can download the PDF file or not. Switch on this option if they are allowed to download the PDF file. If learners aren't allowed to download the file, switch off this option.


ISSUU

ISSUU is an online service that makes it possible to show PDF files appealingly.
With the help of the embed code which you get with each ISSUU file, it is possible to place it in aNewSpring in the content type of ISSUU.

You can only get the ISSUU embed code when you have a paid ISSUU account.


Slideshare

Slideshare is an online tool for making presentations using PowerPoint or PDF files.
The link for the online presentation is found by clicking "Share" in Slideshare.


Prezi

Prezi is an online tool which allows you to create engaging presentations.

The link for Prezi presentations can be found by clicking Share for a presentation.

In Slideshare, Prezi and ISSUU premium, you can disable the share/download option.

When using Google Docs, MS Office Viewer, PDF Viewer, ISSUU, Slideshare and Prezi you can change the Orientation settings. 


Create a list of downloadable files

With the above solutions, the content of the file is directly visible on the screen. If you want to give learners a list of downloadable PDF files, it is better to choose the content type Text.

Then in the text editor, click to add files. You can select multiple files from a folder on your computer, and upload them all at once. 
A link to the PDF file is created and learner can click the link to open the file. They are then able to download the file.
