○ Enable two-factor authentication for your learning environment
With two-factor authentication, users get the option to create an extra security layer for their login details in aNewSpring.
1) Contact the aNewSpring support team
First we must activate this authentication feature for you. To do this, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and mention the URL of your learning environment with your request.
This function can only be switched on for the entire environment, sub-environments included.
2) Enable two-factor authentication
After the feature is enabled, users can click on their name and then Account Settings. Under the Login data tab, you can click Enable at Two Factor Authentication.
Users will get a popup and can follow the instructions to further set it up.
