With two-factor authentication, users get the option to create an extra security layer for their login details in aNewSpring.

1) Contact the aNewSpring support team

First we must activate this authentication feature for you. To do this, send an email to support@anewspring.com and mention the URL of your learning environment with your request.

This function can only be switched on for the entire environment, sub-environments included.


2) Enable two-factor authentication

After the feature is enabled, users can click their name and then My account. On the tab Account settings they can click Turn on two-factor authentication under Two-factor authentication and follow the next steps to enable the two-factor authentication.

The two-factor authentication is done with an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft authenticator (or other authenticator apps).
