○ Automatic logout in case of inactivity
For security reasons, if you have not been active in the learning environment for 30 minutes, you will be logged out by default. This only applies to users with the tenant and administrator role.
You can change the set time or configure it for other roles.
Click the tab . On the left of the screen, you will find a User session settings panel.
You can adjust the session duration for each role. Click Update to save.
When a user has multiple roles, the shortest session will be used.
Tip
Create a report to see how often the learners take the initiative to log out, in relation to how often the system logs them out. How to do this can be found in the Tutorial: Create a report to see details about the session timeout.
Additional setting for learners when they are inactive: notification about being logged out soon
If you enabled the auto-logout option for learners after a period of inactivity, you can also enable a notification that learners will see befor they will be logged out soon.
Tenants can enable this setting on the page.

Session duration learner and external activities (LTI)
Do you also want to set a session duration for learners? Then take the following into account:
When external activities, for example, an LTI activity, are set to play in a pop-up, learners will always be logged out after the set duration.
If the LTI provider passes on a score while the learner is automatically logged out in the meantime, this cannot be saved.
In that case, you better turn off the option 'Play in pop-up' or set the duration to a higher number of hours.
