○ I subscribe a learner to a course. Why is the status 'Expired' the next day?
You have subscribed an existing learner to a new course. The next day you receive a message that they cannot start the learning journey. You check the subscription and see an 'expired' status with an expiration date in the future. How is that possible?
The license of the learner is not renewable.
This ensures that a license is not charged again, but also that all active courses are set to 'Expired'.
What role do you need?
1) Make the license renewable
Go to the Users tab and search for the learner in the list. Click on Data.
Check the box Licence is renewable .
2) Activate the course subscription
Click on the course name at the Learner tab to go directly to the course settings.
Under the Learners tab, you can select the learner and click Activate.
Done! The learner can now continue the learning journey.
