○ The subscription of a learner has an 'Expired' status, but the end date of the subscription is in the future

- You have subscribed an existing learner to a new course. The next day you receive a message that he cannot start the learning journey. You check the subscription and see an 'expired' status with an expiration date in the future.
- A learner has started with a course a while ago, but suddenly this subscription is 'expired' and the learner doesn't have access to the course anymore, even though the end date of the course hasn't been reached yet.
How is this possible?
The licence of the learner is 'not renewable' and the learner doesn't have a valid licence at the moment.
This ensures that a licence will not be deducted again for the learner, but also that all active courses (with an expiration date in the future) will be set to 'Expired'. Because of this the learner doesn't have access anymore to the active courses.
What role do you need to activate the subscription(s) of the learner?

How do you activate the subscription(s)?
To ensure the learner will have access again to the active courses that are now 'Expired', you can take the following steps.
1) Make the licence renewable
Go to the Users tab and search for the learner in the list. Click on 
next to the name of the learner.
Check the box Licence is renewable and click Update.
2) Activate the course subscription
Go to the Learner tab and select the expired course and click
. The course subscription will be activated. The status of the subscription will change from Expired to Started.
Does the learner have more course subscriptions that are expired with an end date in the future? Then you can select all these course subscriptions and click the 
button to activate all these subscriptions at the same time.
3) The learner can now continue the course(s)
Done! The course has been activated for the learner. The learner can now continue the learning journey.
The option 'Licence is renewable' should be enabled until the next day because licences will be renewed at night. The subscription will then not change to 'Expired' the next day.
