This article contains information about the Content Converter. This is an external tool that can convert aNewSpring content to Word and vice versa. More information about the Content Converter can be found on this page.

If you already created content in aNewSpring and you are planning to (also) do this in Word, it would be a good idea to first convert some of the created content to Word. This way you will get an idea of the format you should use in Word.

No credits will be charged for converting aNewSpring content to Word.

1) Decide what you would like to export

The Converter cannot convert everything yet. In this article you will find an overview of what you can and can't convert: Features

2) Export content from aNewSpring

You will find more information under Exporting in the article Importing and exporting content.

All content will be exported to a single Word file. To keep things organised, you could consider to do multiple exports. Click to select a part of the content.

Then click . A ZIP file with the content will be downloaded.

If you would like to export only one question or content part to convert, then click More next to name of the question or content part and choose Export.

3) Import the content in the Converter

Open the Converter and click Click here to convert a file. Choose the exported ZIP file. Choose if you want to use a page ID prefix and then click Convert.

The conversion report shows how many content parts and questions were converted. Possible errors will also be shown here. Click Download to download the converted file.

Congratulations, you have just transformed a content library into a Word file!

The maximum size of a file to upload in the Converter is 100mb. If your content library is larger than 100mb you could export the content library in separate parts and then convert these separate export files.
You could also choose to remove larger files like video's.

It is recommended to save your original export file of your content library. Because the tool is still in development, it is possible that some errors arise during the conversion from aNewSpring to Word and back to aNewSpring. If that happens, you will still have your original export file.
