3) Choose which question statistics you want to export
In the next pop-up you choose for which Assessment activity you want to export the statistics. Select the Assessment activity from the drop down menu under Assessment.
Then select which statistics you want to export under Question statistics . You can choose the following statistics here:
- Correct answers
The number of times the question has been answered correctly. - Incorrect answers
The number of times the question has been answered incorrectly. - Total answers
The total number of times the question has been answered. - P-value
Indicates the difficulty level of the question. The p-value is a number between 0 and 1. The lower the p-value, the more difficult learners find the question.
The p-value is calculated by dividing the number of times a question has been answered correctly by the number of times the question has been answered.
- Rit-value
The Rit-value of a question shows how the score on the question relates to the total score on the Assessment activity.
The Rit-value indicates how well the question individually measures the same as the complete Assessment activity.
The Rit-value compares the question score to the total score of the test. - Rir-value
The Rir-value of a question indicates the correlation between the score on a question and the total score on the Assessment activity, excluding the question itself.
The Rir-value says something about the distinctiveness of the question: does a question make a good distinction between the less good and better learners? The Rir-value is always a number between -1 and +1. The greater the distinctiveness of the question, the higher the Rir-value.
A higher Rir-value means that the better learners answer the question correctly and the less good learners answer the question incorrectly. With a low or negative Rir-value it is the other way around: the better learners answer the question incorrectly.
