○ Tutorial: Create a report to see progress on competencies
Scenarios
- You have set up Profiles & Competencies for your learners and you want to know which learners still need to obtain competencies.
Which roles are required?
Administrator or instructor
In this tutorial, we will prepare a report in which you can see which competencies are still open per learner.
In the Tutorial: Create a report to show participants with an achieved profile, you will find the steps to create a report to retrieve all learners who have achieved a profile.
You can then merge these two reports in a program such as Excel or Google Sheets.
Click the tab .
Take a predefined report as a starting point
Use the button + Predefined report for this.
Select Learner - progress per competency from the list.
Or create a new report
Click the button.
Change the name of the report. Give it a clear name so that you can easily find it in the list at a later moment.
1) Select type
Choose the type 'Profiles'.
2) Select Columns
For the columns, we select the options as shown in the screenshot.
Click on the available data in the left column and click on the arrow in the middle to get the data in the 'Selected' column.
If the certificates linked to the competencies have an expiry date, you can also show this date in a report.
3) Group rows
We can skip grouping rows for this report.
4) Filter
In this step, you can already select the profiles for which you want to see the progress.
Because we only want to see the learners who still have to obtain competencies, you can add one of the filters below from the screenshot.
If you set the progress to 'does not equal', you must know exactly how many competencies a profile contains. In this case 4/4.
5) Sorting
If you want you can sort the names of the learners.
6) View the report
Click Execute to see the result. Do you still want to add columns? Then click Edit.
