○ Tutorial: Create a report to show learners with a completed profile
Scenarios
- You have set up Profiles & Competencies for your learners and you want to know which learners already meet a profile.
Which roles are required?
Administrator or instructor
You can show both the progress on the profile and the status per competencies in a report.
In this tutorial, we will show how you can create a report to see which learners have completed a profile. See also the Tutorial: Create a report to see the status per competency.
You can then merge these two reports in a tool such as Excel or Google Sheets.
Click the tab .
Take a predefined report as a starting point
Use the button + Predefined report for this.
Select Learner - progress per profile from the list.
Or create a new report
Click the button.
Change the name of the report. Give it a clear name so that you can easily find it at a later moment.
1) Select type
Choose the type 'Profiles'.
2) Select Columns
For the columns, we select the options as shown in the screenshot.
Click on the available data in the left column and click on the arrow in the middle to get the data in the 'Selected' column.
3) Group rows
In this step, you can determine which columns should come together in one row.
By basing the grouping of the row on the User, each row in the report will start with the Full Name of a learner.
If you had selected more columns in step 2 that fall under User, for example, Company, then the Company will be shown in the report after the name of the learner, so in the second column.
By combining the grouping with the Profile, the name of the profile will be visible in the second column.
4) Filters
In this step, you can already select the profiles for which you want to see the progress.
To only retrieve the participants who have completed their profile, add a new filter based on the Profile. Equate the progress with the number of competencies in that profile. In this case, that's 4/4.
5) Sorting
If you want you can sort the names of the learners.
6) View the report
Click Execute to see the result. Do you still want to add columns? Then click Edit.
