With a matrix question, the learner has to answer questions by his or her opinion. These answers are not seen as wrong or right.


Where?

Question type: Questionnaire

With a matrix question with the type 'Questionnaire', you can create a default question list.

Question

Put the general question text in the question input field. You can add complementary media to the question.

Answers

Fill in the standard answers that the learners can choose from. All subquestions added to this matrix question, will have the same answer posibilities.
You can add extra answer posibilities by clicking on + Answer.

Subquestions

In the subquestions you add the questions the learner has to give answer to. You can add extra subquestions by clicking on + Subquestion.

Question type: E-assessment (with measures)

Measures are skills that the learners can score points on. Before you can connect measures to questions, you have to create them first.
To add measures, click on More next to the appropriate content library when in the Content library overview. Then select Measures.

Adding measures

Click on +Measure to add a measure. Give it an unique name and a title. When you have created all the measures you need, go back to the question to add them.

Question

Put the general question text in the question input field. Choose E-assessment as the Question type. You can add complementary media to the question.

Answers

Fill in the standard answers that the learners can choose from. All subquestions added to this matrix question, will have the same answer possibilities.
You can add extra answer possibilities by clicking on +answer.

Sub questions

Add the subquestions with the according measures. Give the answer possibilities scores. The example below will show you how this works. The letters 'a' to 'e' belong to the answers that are filled in, a,b,c,d and e (as you can see in the image below). When a learner 'totally agrees' to the first subquestion, he receives 5 points on the measure ´Health'.
