To create an inspiring learning journey for your learners, you can use different types of content in aNewSpring by using the Plus-editor. You can add these to both content parts and questions. You will find the types of content below.

Some content types require external tools. Knowledge about these tools is required. Contact the creators of the tool for support.

Text

In the text editor you have several options such as adding downloadable documents, formulas and tables.

In the article below you find more information about all functionalities of the text editor:

Audio

You can add audio in .mp3 format. You don't add this via the Plus-editor but below the Plus-editor you can find a setting called Audio file where you can upload an audio file.

Video

Upload videos in aNewSpring, or use other platforms such as Vimeo, YouTube, Synthesia and hihaho.

Add Cue Point to add timed bullets to videos.

HTML

You can use HTML code. This can also be an embed code.

Web

Add a website to a content part with iFrame. Paste the url of a website in the URL field and choose Ok.

Sometimes web pages are blocked from being used in an iFrame. You will then see a message that the content cannot be displayed.

List

When using List you can add all kinds of lists to the content part, a checklist for example. The list items can be provided with a content part for extra information.

The checklist is primarily meant for performance support. Learners can check off a list of tasks at their workplace. The checked items aren't stored in the system and the next time a learner has to complete the same task, he can make use of the same checklist.
