What is the difference between a knowledge and evaluation content library

When creating a content library you can choose between the types knowledge and evaluation.

Questions in a knowledge content library can be answered either correctly or incorrectly and you can use them in the following types of activities:

  • Lesson
  • Documentation
  • Assignment
  • Assessment
  • Random assessment.

Questions created in an evaluation content library cannot be answered correctly or incorrectly and you can use them in the following types of activities:

  • Inquiry
  • Scan
  • 360° degrees feedback

In an evaluation content library you can choose four types of questions, in a knowledge content library you can choose from seven different types.

Evaluation content library:

  • Multiple Choice
  • Multiple Response
  • Essay item (open question)
  • Matrix

Knowledge content library:

  • Multiple Choice
  • Multiple Response
  • Essay item (open question)
  • Matrix
  • Fill-in-the-Blank
  • Hotspot
