You can sell courses by putting them in the catalogue. Is the catalogue not visible in your environment? You can enabled it under the Settings tab.

With access codes

1) Create a course

After creating a template and publishing it, you need to create a course. Also see Creating a course.

2) Create an access code group

See Creating access codes

3) Create product categories

Product categories are used for catalogue products. Courses will be the catalogue products. Click Catalogue underneath the Reseller tab. Click + Product category and fill in the name of the category.

4) Create a catalogue product

Click + Product and enter the name. Switch to Access code group and select the access code group you created. You can enter a description and upload images under the Product tab. Under the Settings and pricing tab you can select the subenvironment, a product category, the purchase method*, the currency and set the price.

5) Put course in the catalogue

After setting up the product, click Publish to make it available in the catalogue. Users that buy this product will receive an access code via email after a successful payment.

Directly from the course

3) Set up the catalogue product

*Purchase method

  • Paid. For this you will need to be connected to Buckaroo and/or PayPal. A learner will automatically receive either an access code or registration link after a successful payment. This option will cost licences.
  • Free (with approval). The catalogue manager will receive an email when a learner requests the product. The catalogue manager will have to approve this before the learner automatically receive the access code or registration link. This option will cost licences.
  • Free (Direct access). This is only available for catalogue products without access codes. A learner can request the course and will immediately get access. This option will cost licences.
  • Demo. This is only available for catalogue products without access codes. Check For anonymous learners and an anonymous user will automatically be created (if the user is not logged in yet) and will have access to the demo right away. If this option is unchecked, the user will be directed to a form to create an account first. This option will only cost licences if the course is not a demo type.
If you link Buckaroo to the catalogue, participants automatically receive an access code or registration link once the payment is approved. No catalogue visible in your learning environment? You can turn this on at the Settings tab. Sometimes it isn't possible to publish a product because a catalogue manager is missing. You can also set this at the Settings tab. This user will need the reseller role and reseller rights for the subenvironment.
