What can I do at the 'Extra MemoTrainable questions'-tab?

The learners will continue to repeat the theory, so it will become available in their long term memory. If you have set that questions will become MemoTrainable after finishing the lesson, the questions that are selected in the activity content will become available after completing the activity. The selected extra MemoTrainable questions will become available on top of those questions.

What can I do at the 'Conditions'-tab?

By adding a condition to an activity, you can decide when it becomes available for the learner. These are the available conditions:

  • Activity is available until date "X"
  • Activity is available from date "X"
  • Activity is available from "X" period after the course started
  • Activity is available from "X" period after the learner started
  • Activity is available after block "X" is completed
  • Activity is available after activity "X" is completed
  • Activity is available after activity "X" is completed with a minimum score of "X" (The exact score is included)
  • Activity is available after activity "X" is completed with a maximum score of "X" (The exact score is excluded)
  • Activity is available after a knowledge intake of "X"% is reached
  • Activity is available when a learner has been granted explicit access

To clarify how conditions work, you will find a few scenario's below.

Scenario 1

Learners take an assessment after each topic. If learners score low on the assessment, they have to retake the assessment.

  • Click Edit at the retake.
  • Choose the 'Conditions' tab and click + Add.
  • Choose the condition: '... after activity "X" is completed with a maximum score of "X"'
  • In the dropdown menu select the first assessment and enter the maximum  score. If learners score below this percentage, the retake will become  available.

Scenario 2

National exam days have been appointed. Leaners get two days to take an exam.
  • Click Edit after the assessment.
  • Choose the 'Conditions' tab and click + Add.
  • Add two conditions: '... from date "X"' and '... until date "X"'.
  • Set the dates and decide if learners should get a notification or not.
You can change the dates for conditions per course. For more information about this, read: 'Course settings - Tab: Activities'.

Scenario 3

You would like to grant specific learners access to an activity.

  • Add the condition "when a learner has been granted explicit  access" to an activity. In the course you will be able to select the learners that can have access.

See 'Course settings - Tab: Manage learner conditions'.
